Last week, the US space agency NASA announced a $ 14.1 million contract with telecommunications company Nokia to build LTE cellular networks on the moon, one of 15 NASA announced this year to private companies to promote the development of new space technologies.

NASA told about this news on last week and told that " If NASA's Artemis Program succeeds in returning "first women and the next man" to the moon in 2024, then the astronauts will be able to tweet on social media before putting their feet on the surface of moon. "

This means that NASA wants to build a powerful 4G network on the moon. This is implies that Now Space will also be laced with High speed internet.

    The Artemis program is a US government-funded crew spaceflight program, aiming to land "the first woman and the next man" on the moon, especially in the lunar South Pole region by 2024.

    NASA and Space-X both wanted to expand their territories in the space and for this the first step will be establish a high speed internet in the space for best and quick communication. 
    SpaceX founder Elon Musk recently speculated about the possibility of building a Starlink network on Mars.

    Can this possible? If yes then "How?", if No then "Why?"

    As i know that NASA will never abound this Target because NASA is working on this program to Build 4G Tower on the Moon. NASA can do this but in realtime it can not be possible because NASA and Space X wants to connect MOON to Earth via wireless connection i.e., not possible. This is because of Both "EARTH" and "MOON" is rotating on their axis and in present we have establised our network system on stationary system.

    None protocol can allow Martian devices to communicate with Earth devices in real time, but a DTN can ensure that messages eventually make their way into the space gulf. The Interplanetary Networking Special Interest Group hopes that someday many spacecraft will carry the necessary hardware and become smart-nodes that will tie different areas of the solar system together into a space Internet to build a network.

    Nevertheless, the new space-based hardware means a new playground for DTN, which can advocates designing experiments for the ISS, which is just 250 miles below the surface. Regardless of how NASA and Nokia pull it off, it appears that astronauts' will access to terrestrial Twitter - which began in 2010 - will continued in future....

    NASA will absolutely build 4G network Tower on the Moon, and i think that this will be happened. I don't know or tell you the exact time date or year but in futur DTN service will comply in this universe, yes in this universe not only on the Earth this will available for moon as well as Mars.
