Oppo Ren 3 Pro :

The Reno3 Pro has a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch hole for the selfie camera. The panel has a 180 Hz touch detection rate for less lag and better gaming. It also comes with 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10+ support, GSMArena reported on Thursday.

It goes from 0 to 50 per cent in 20 minutes, and 0 to 70 per cent in half an hour. Oppo is so confident the battery will take the beating of the 5G networks, it advertises the phone as "5G experience, 4G battery life", the report added.The mightier Pro version features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset while the Reno3 is the first smartphone to sport MediaTek's new Dimensity 1000L system on chip (SoC)

The design and construction of the Oppo Reno 3 are similar to its Pro variant, except for some obvious differences here and there. The rear panel looks exactly the same with its hyperbolic design and eye-catching colors, but this variant is slightly thicker at 7.96mm than the Reno 3 Pro 5G.

Oppo Reno 3 ditches the dual-curved design, as well as punch-hole camera, on the front and opts for a more traditional flat display. You can also see the waterdrop notch (which became a smartphone trend in 2019) with a 32MP selfie snapper up-top. It’s a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch response. The panel also supports a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

In the camera department, Oppo Reno 3 upgrades the primary camera from a 48MP sensor to a 64MP sensor on the rear. It’s paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 115-degree FOV, a 2MP mono lens, and finally a 2MP macro lens. It supports the new Ultra Stable 2.0 video mode for smoother video capture but skimps on the telephoto capabilities offered with the Pro variant.

For the specs, the Oppo Reno 3 5G comes with a waterdrop notch sat on a 6.4-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the phone comes running the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L chipset with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The SoC is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the Oppo Reno 3 comes with a 64-megapixel lens sat alongside an 8-megapixel 116-degree Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, we have a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The Reno 3 Pr features slightly different specs when compared to its sibling, the Reno 3.

On the outside, we have a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD+ panel with the same aspect ratio that we saw earlier on the Reno 3. However, the panel is capable of running at 90Hz refresh rate and producing a peak brightness of 500nits. The phone comes with a punch-hole camera on the top-left corner of the display.

Under the hood, the device comes running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with Adreno 620 GPU. For cameras, the Reno 3 Pro 5G gets a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor sat next to a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture for 5x Hybrid Optical Zoom, an 8-megapixel 116-degree Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel mono lens with f/2.4 aperture.
